Frequently asked questions

Blur or pixelate — which should I use?

Both hide detail. Pixelate gives the recognizable mosaic look; blur is softer. For truly sensitive info, use a strong setting so the original can't be reconstructed.

Can I blur more than one area?

Yes — draw a box, click Apply, then draw and apply again for each region. Effects bake into the image as you go.

Is the blurred image safe to share?

The effect is permanent in the exported PNG — the hidden pixels are replaced, not just covered. Use a high strength for anything truly sensitive.
